Vintage Banded Agate "Sheep's Head" king 28" strand of tabular shapedNatural banded agate bead hand carved in Nepal, about 40 years old. Stone is black with fine white and gray lines, imitating an ancient bead called a "Sheep's Head" with extended "Horns". This bead has beautiful natural patterns and color, and is in excellent condition. The concentric lines accentuate an "eye", believed to be protective, warding away the evil eye. 25mm tall x 37mm across, . 8mm hole. Rare and unique.
