This is a fantastic set, with four original German WWII combat awards, each with their original BESITTZZEUGNIS "possession award" certificates. All were awarded to the same soldier, Anton van Es, who we believe was a Dutch volunteer, holding the rank of Oberschtze (Private), Obergrenadier, and finally Unteroffizier (Corporal). The award documents are dated 1942, 1943, and 1944, making this a great set showing
