These are not only very unusual but also extremely RARE, and this is the first example that we have had! Known as a Mughal Empire Era "ZAHNGAL" Battle Axe, these usually date to the 17th Century. They were introduced first in Northern India by the Muslim Iranian "Mughals," who took over most of India in the 1600s, and controlled it until the 19th century. The axe head on this example most likely dates to the late
