I have wanted to make a print using the traditional Japanese Uroko motif for a while now, but it can be tricky to get a bunch of triangles to look cool (!) It was starting to give me a headache. The traditional Uroko pattern mimics the scales of a fish or a snake protective barriers against harm. Now I wasn't there or anything, but apparently Samurai would wear this pattern as a symbol of protection :) This print
