The helmet is fitted with a small hole “shrimp net” style helmet net which was a somewhat common practice with GIs cutting pieces from larger vehicle nets to use to assist in camouflaging the helmet

which is most likely the reason it was installed into the rummy receiver

This is a set of two inert illumination rifle grenades that came out of an old museum, still retaining their identification tags wrapped around the shaft. Despite both being labeled French, they are both Belgian. As with all deactivated ordnance, this item is not available for export. The first grenade, which is Belgian, is an M259 rifle grenade, labeled PFL RFL 40 N 5 3 09. It is a rifle launched, parachute
