I honestly know nothing about this vessel

and a sort of a sun pattern at the center of each side

with just a bit of wear to black paint on the nose

I have not attempted to polish it as the brass has a nice warm patina

but put it in a room filled with jewel tones and it takes on another life

Great sitting atop a pile of papers, perched on a shelf, or anywhere. 4 1 2" long x 2 1 4" wide and 2 1 4" tall and in great condition.
