This is one of my favorite things ever

and given out as party favors at his "Party of Life" birthday events--at the Paradise Garage (1984) and the Palladium (1985 & 86)

with more darkening to the white paint on one side than the other

and a fun one to wave around

Very Old Hand-Carved Arm with Stigmata lenticular lenses most of the time theI have to think this was once attached to a very old carved Christ figure, due to the stigmata piercing the palm of the hand. It feels pretty ancient, and beautiful I think for quite the patina it has acquired, including a little loss to a couple of the fingers. Quite an evocative thing. 10 inches long x 2 3 8" wide x 1 1 4" d. Much aged over at least a couple hundred years I'd think, all to the good, and not fragile.
