The liner is correct high pressure WWII issue and stamped with the MSA logo for Mine Safety Appliances Company

The warhead still bears a faint 1944 date stamped into the metal

Here we have a very smart looking original Model 1830 Eagle Headed U. S. Officer's sword, typical of the type made in the 1830s and later. The sword is all brass mounted with a standard "D" hand guard and a very nice "closed mouth" Eagle pommel. The grip is wood wrapped with twisted copper wire, which is still in great shape and tight to the tang. The handguard however is somewhat loose, and the original gilding on
