I would guess maybe 1950s or so but am not completely sure

SOLD Very Tender, Densely Knit, Heavy Wool Presumed Antique Swedish Child's Mittens with Embroidery and Fringe vintage baseball dated 1870I just fell in love with these, knit for a child (or an adult with very small hands) quite a long time ago. There is a similar pair in the collection of the Nordiska Museum in Stockholm (a marvelous place!) that tells me they are likely Swedish; I have found an image of some Icelandic mittens several hundred years old they are kin to as well. A few stitches the the zig zag embroidery lost on the thumb side (which makes sense) and a stain here or
