Wilson certainly succeeded in his mission--this donkey is an incredible walker

The handle measures about 6" long and 1 1/8" in diameter at widest

no more than what it needs to be and seemingly perfectly suited to go for a float--and I find that flat expanse of chocolate brown paint weirdly but truly satisfying

I assume the title, Conifers, points to the materiality of the woodblock surface itself, but perhaps also to elongated two toned green form that centers the abstract composition. Ehrenhalt is an American painter, sculptor, and
