but I think their sense of color was pretty fantastic

several very carefully done pattern designs included--and one stand along gouache on paper pattern painting loose inside its pages that I'd frame straight away

and so a very tender feeling portrait of connection that also foreshadows separation

which  it would be super easy to slide in instead of the glass on the back side

A quick search turns up a bunch about the Colby family and Colby farm, a successful family farm that included cornfields and grazing fields for their livestock, and a historic farmhouse (now restored and known as the Cyrus Colby Farmhouse) dating to 1826.
