This is an very nice true combat example of a genuine British Mark 1 steel helmet that is dated 1939. The stamping on the underside of the rim reads: RO. CO 1 1939 RO. CO stands for Rubery Owen & Co Ltd of Leeds who made helmets from 1939 to 1943. The paint is 100% original. This is an excellent condition, complete, original, WW2, painted steel 'Tommy' helmet. It has an original black oil cloth liner with adjustment cord
