there are notes on the middle disk relative to positions of bow and beam

from its hand-painted red-cheeked smiling face to its polka dotted outfit

and the bottom half of the basket mirroring the top

The woven heart shows two small tears on one side

Vintage Studio Pottery White Slip Glazed Subtly Faceted Stoneware Vase folding box probably late 20th centuryJust a nice, earthy, hand thrown pottery vase, great for everyday use. As a child of the 70s I have a particular penchant for pieces like this, which make me want to bake bread and be more virtuous! The body is subtly faceted as well as a bit striated. Signed (incised) on the underside but indecipherable, though it does look the date is 7 something! 7 1 8" tall x 5 3 4" wide and in great condition.
