The badge is constructed out of a die struck tombak base that has been silver washed and contains multicolored paint work (early war examples used enamel)

Many of these barrels are in virtually unused condition

and the brass cap for the detonator is intact as well

This is an excellent condition, original pectin treated silk blood chit. It bears a World War Two printed Chinese National Flag with Chinese Characters and a temple stamp. It measures approximately 7 inches by 9 inches. This would have been stitched to the back or inside lining of a U. S. Aviator flight jacket.
