This is an example of a WWII Imperial Japanese Wrist Compass, as issued to Pilots of the Imperial Japanese Army and Imperial Japanese Navy. The compass has a face diameter of approximately 1 inch. The compass pointer moves easily within the case, and the compass has a locking mechanism on the side of the case which is unfortunately missing. The compass case also has a turning bezel to provide an adjustable
