This is a rare and World War II United States Army gilder troops (paraglider) badge made in the United Kingdom we believe by J. R. Gaunt. The markings are very faint but LONDON can just be seen. The badge is a pair of unfurling wings encircling a glider. It measures approximately 11 16" in height 1 1 2" in width with the correct horizontal Y pin pin with C catch.
