This is an outstanding example of an original Dutch 'Klewang' (Sword) M 1898 1911. This is one of the nicer examples we have encountered in recent years and comes complete with a rare (and correct!) leather scabbard. Originally made for use by the Dutch KNIL Forces (The Royal Netherlands East Indies Army or Koninklijk Nederlands Indisch Leger). These cutlasses have an interesting history, having been used by not only
