This is an excellent early pattern SA Dagger, made by the firm of Bodenstein Julius, Messerfabrik of Steinbach Kreis Meiningen, Thuringia. This firm only manufactured SA daggers and was believed to have produced fewer than 3000 total before and during the early stages of the war, making this an very rare example.
