There is writing on about 55 of the 100 or so pages

There remains brass pin near the opening end which locks into the opposite side to hold it closed

all indications are that Alt (Jewish I assume) lived in Berlin during WWII

which I especially love

Based on the lot I found him in, and also the handwriting, I do believe he's a pretty old one, earlyish 1900s I would guess, but absolutely timeless! 3 1 4 t x 5" l. A couple of minor old
