A frequent need when working with biosignals is the synchronization of recorded data with external recording devices (e. g. a video camera). If the LED sensor is attached to a camera lens, it can be used to insert uniform markers into the recording, thus providing a synchronization source. The LED sensor can also be useful for optical synchronization with
