Japan, Empire. A Set of Second War Naval Captain Shoulder Boards Hold KemmelweisuA set of two shoulder boards denoting the ranking of Captain in the Japanese Navy from the Second World War. The boards are made from a black fabric with two fine gold bullion stripes, each affixed with three cherry blossom insignia and one cherry blossom button. It has a leather reverse and a metal horizontal pin. One of the boards has a leather backing underneath the pin. They measure at 119mm (l) x 41mm (h). Each exhibits slight discolouration and
