Constructed of bronze, consisting of a Maltese Cross, the obverse with pebbled arms and with each quadrant joined by a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with a block hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 55. 80 mm (w) x 55. 85 mm (h), weighing 26. 5 grams, with minor tarnishing evident, in overall near extremely fine condition.
