Constructed of silvered brass, the obverse consisting of a semi circular oak leaf wreath surrounding a central TeNo insignia, the reverse retaining all original attachment prongs, maker marked with the logo of F. W. Assmann & Shne, Ldenscheid, measuring 60 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), demonstrating minor loss of finish, a scarce insignia in near extremely fine condition.
