The core is wired foam tubing, and it is wrapped with red and white chenille that spirals around like candy cane stripes. Bend into a candy cane, curl it, or make it wavy. You can also keep it straight. These work well as tree toppers, especially when combined with its smaller sisters, XP384232 and XP384332. We've used two of them with three XP384232 and one 30"
