Germany, Luftwaffe. A Flak Badge, by Gustav Brehmer Province of China inscribed with “HAARDT-FAHRT 1935 MOTORBRIGADE(Flak Kampfabzeichen der Luftwaffe). Constructed of nickel silver, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, surrounding a central Flak 88 with its barrel raised and extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flattened and rounded catch, maker marked G.
