Germany, HJ. A Golden HJ Leader’s Sports Proficiency Badge, Numbered Example, by Gustav Brehmer of Markneukirchen Newly Listed On their return(Fhrer Sportabzeichen). Instituted May 6th, 1934 by Baldur von Schirach. (1938 1944 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze with black enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel wreath surrounding a black enameled disc, overlaid by a Tyr rune bearing a central mobile swastika, within a circular ring bearing a raised inscription of Fr Leistungen in der HJ (For Merit in the HJ), the reverse with a raised barrel hinge, vertical pinback, and
