Germany, Wehrmacht. An Eastern People’s Bravery Decoration, Silver Grade, 1957 Version United Republic of flanked by downward pointing branches(Verdienstauszeichnung fr Angehrige der Ostvlker, I. Klasse in Silber mit Schwertern). Constructed of silvered zink, consisting of an eight pointed radiant star, the obverse depicting a six leaved rosette, surrounded by a laurel wreath tied together at the bottom via a ribbon, surrounded by a ribbed border, the reverse with a vertical principle pin assembly, unmarked, measuring 48. 28 mm (w) x 48. 21 mm (h), and in very fine condition.
