Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central crown circumscribed by an inscription of TREUE DIENSTE BEI DER FAHNE (FAITHFUL SERVICE TO THE FLAG), the reverse with a number 12 in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 30. 87 mm in diameter, weighing 12. 0 grams, in extremely fine
