Constructed of an oval silvered and patinated tombac in the shape of an oak and laurel wreath, tied together at the base using three ribbons, with an eagle clutching a mobile swastika superimposed on the badge; the reverse plain, with two rivets for attachment of the eagle to the wreath; with a vertical pinback, a barrel hinge and a round wire catch; unmarked; measuring 52. 78 mm (w) x 52. 91 mm (h); weighing 33. 5 grams; in
