With no external tools required, the foot easily tightens to bar and roof simultaneously with a simple turn of a knob. Locking options are available using Thule Lock Cylinders. The foot is made out of high quality, rust resistant galvanized steel and black polyester powder coating. The blades of the foot are vinyl dipped to help prevent slippage in the rain gutter.
