Constructed of gilded zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing two raised shields overlaid by Heer and Falange insignia, in turn overlaying a sword, topped by a Stahlhelm, and situated above a swastika flanked by clusters of laurel leaves, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of DIVISION ESPAOLA DE VOLUNTARIOS EN RUSIA
