Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom ribbon, topped by a Bavarian royal crown, around a central depiction of a monoplane flying over a rural landscape, the reverse with a vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 44. 13 mm (w) x 67. 82 mm (h), weighing 22. 6 grams, with minor loss of finish evident, a field made unofficial piece in near
