Handmade 19th c. Rustic French Farmhouse Writing Desk/Console c.1800s Ceiling Lighting Diameter 3 inABOUT A handmade 19th century primitive farmhouse table with tapered legs and cross bar design. The top consists of two wide planks of Elm constructed using antique nail heads and tenon joints. Pencil saw marks are visible on the sides used to guide the tenon maker. The patina is beautifully preserved with a clear coat. The table is very sturdy. CREATOR Unknown. DATE OF MANUFACTURE c. 1800s. MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES Elm. CONDITION Good. Wear
