white patinated silver cross base with a recessed cross placed at the junction of the arms

The rear has two vertical straps with snap closures stitched in place on either side of the central wide panel

There is a strap in fine gold-colored embroidery with dual adjustable sliders matching the strap

Germany, Kriegsmarine. An Officer’s Breast Eagle Archive 4 mm (w) x 48(Kriegsmarine Brustadler fr Offiziere). Constructed of dark blue wool, the obverse bearing a hand embroidered gold bullion wire eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 100 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), demonstrating moderate material fatigue throughout, in uniform removed and very fine condition.
